The Milwaukee Construction Industry Safety Council is a group of construction professionals who are responsible for the safety of their company’s employees. These leaders meet quarterly to discuss topics of concern among companies that perform the overwhelming majority of the commercial construction that takes place each year in the Milwaukee area.

Currently, the Council is chaired by Frank Slamar, C. G. Schmidt, Inc. Representatives from virtually every trade comprise the membership of the Council. Among the groups represented are:

• The Floor Coverer’s Association of Southeastern Wisconsin

• The Milwaukee Painting and Decorating Contractors Association

The Council meets on a quarterly basis on the second Tuesday of March, June, September, and December. Current Council Membership includes the following:
