Many contractors want to know, “Just what is it that we should have in our company safety program?” “Is my program current?” “What else should I be doing?”

This class is designed to answer these questions and many more. There are a number of things contractors can do to provide an effective safety environment among their employees. We will discuss responsibilities, rules, procedures, and follow-up, all of which are contained within a good safety program. We also discuss the hazard of writing a program and then letting it “grow old” on the shelf.

This class is scheduled for two hours. Participants will receive handouts that will include a model safety program. This model can then be massaged to fit their own firms.

Sessions are held at the AGC offices at 10400 Innovation Dr., Ste. 210 in Milwaukee. Registration fees are based on affiliation and membership status. Normal fees are $35 per person with non-members at $70. Corporate General Contractors can register for $25 per person.
