Fall Protection for
Framing Carpenters

Online Here
You may ask, “Why are framing
carpenters any different from the rest of us when it comes to
fall protection?” The answer is “technically, nothing, except…”
OSHA currently has a directive
out that basically allows other options for residential
contractors when it comes to setting floor and roof trusses,
tilting up walls, and sheathing and decking work. It furthers
states that some commercial work could fall under this directive
as well.
This class is designed to review
the basic options a worker has when performing the operations
mentioned above. It will also review these “alternative” options
as well so that students will leave with an idea of what they
can and cannot do.
 |
This class is scheduled for
two hours. Participants will receive handouts that will
include a copy of the above-mentioned directive. They will
also receive a card to show proof of attendance.
