Erection
OSHA requires that the employer
ensure “that each employee has been trained … in the following
areas:

Nature of fall hazards
-
Correct procedures for the use
of the various fall protection systems
-
The role of employees involved
in fall protection programs
-
The standards involving fall
protection
In addition, special training in
the following may also be needed:
-
Multiple Lift Rigging
-
Connecting
-
Controlled Decking Zones
The AGC offers training in the
requirements of Subpart R of the OSHA standards for construction.
Our program follows the nationally acclaimed training sponsored by OSHA
and developed by AGC of America.
This class is scheduled for two
hours. Participants will receive handouts that will include a
copy of the standard. They will also receive a card to show
proof of attendance.

Sessions are held at the AGC
offices at 10400 Innovation Dr., Ste. 210 in Milwaukee. Registration fees
are based on affiliation and membership status. Normal fees are
$35 per person with non-members at $70. Corporate General
Contractors can register for $25 per person.
