THE MILWAUKEE CONSTRUCTION
INDUSTRY SAFETY COUNCIL (MCISC)

The Milwaukee Construction Industry Safety Council is a group of construction professionals who are responsible for the safety of their company’s employees. These leaders meet quarterly to discuss topics of concern among companies that perform the overwhelming majority of the commercial construction that takes place each year in the Milwaukee area.

Currently, the Council is chaired by Frank Slamar, C. G. Schmidt, Inc.

Representatives from virtually every trade comprise the membership of the Council. Among the groups represented are:

• The Associated General Contractors of Greater Milwaukee

• The Master Builders Association of Wisconsin, Inc.

• The Metropolitan Builders Association of Greater Milwaukee

• The Eastern Wisconsin Erectors Association, Inc.

• The Mason Contractors Association of Milwaukee, Inc.

• The Residential Union Carpentry Contractors Association

• The National Electrical Contractors Association

• The Floor Coverer’s Association of Southeastern Wisconsin

• Southeastern Wisconsin Drywall & Plastering Contractors Association

• The Acoustical Contractors Association of Milwaukee

• The Wisconsin Insulation Contractors Association, Inc.

• The Milwaukee Painting and Decorating Contractors Association

The Council meets on a quarterly basis on the second Tuesday of March, June, September, and December.  Current Council Membership includes the following:
